Taste NY Café Collaborates With The North Star Food Hub To Provide Fresh Farm Bags
LYONS FALLS, N.Y. — The Taste NY Café at the North Country Welcome Center has collaborated with The North Star Food Hub to bring the local community Fresh Farm Bags! The North Star Food Hub is a distributor and marketplace of food grown and produced in New York State, focusing primarily on products from Jefferson, St. 
Lawrence, Oswego, and Lewis Counties. They make it possible for North Country farmers to work together to meet the growing demand for local, sustainable food. Check out their website www.northstarfoodhub.com. Visit their site and register to receive a Farm Fresh Bag and pick up local products. They hand-pack reusable bags every week with the best in season products from North Country farmers and producers. Choose either a breakfast bag, a snack bag, or a produce bag – or all three! Looking for something special or unique? Choose from dozens of add-on items from local farmers and the Taste New York Store. From fresh shiitake mushrooms to cheese curd to steaks, there is sure to be something for everyone. They also have convenient online ordering and payment. Simply specify a delivery location, place an order and they will have the bags waiting there on the following Friday. The Taste NY Café at the North Country Welcome Center (43350 Collins Landing Rd, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607) will serve as one of the eight drop off points in Jefferson and Lewis County.
