About the Owner:
Heather Pleskach is a Lewis County native with 15 years in strategic marketing experience. Aside from spending time with her family, she spends her nights and weekends building and growing her new business. She currently resides in Brantingham with her husband, Eric; two children, Dexter and Skylar; and their two Bassett Hounds, Millie and Mak.
Start-Up Story:
Inspiration hit Heather to create Greet on Repeat while juggling work, kids, and household responsibilities. She had a scheduled grocery pick up and was unable to add a birthday card to her order, forcing her to take her toddler and newborn inside to grab a card. She knew that pain point was well beyond one scenario- spending years making many last minute trips to the store to grab a card, or forgetting one altogether. Heather wanted to find a way to help busy people like herself a greeting card in a hassle-free way without sacrificing the quality of the card or message. With the encouragement from her family and friends, Greet on Repeat is now a reality- ready to help others.

Why did you choose to do business in Lewis County?
"I was born and raised here in Lewis County. It is and will forever be my home and there's no where else I'd rather be. Additionally, you won't find better people that are more supportive. We're a small town but we big hearts, and it is wonderful to see the love and support you get locally as a small business."
What advice would you give to someone starting a business in Lewis County?
"Use your resources. You may be an entrepreneur going out on your own, but you don't have to do it alone. There are organizations and support that can help you turn your dream into a reality by offering educational sessions, services, grants, and more."
What are you looking forward to in 2022?
"While my business was established in 2021, I have spent the better part of the last year on the infrastructure to launch my business. It is a very complex system requiring a lot of work for it to function as intended and offer the user experience I desire for my customers. I am at the finish line and look forward to launching my website and my service to my prospective customers"
Are there any partnerships/organizations that have help you on your business journey?
"This business venture wouldn't have been possible alone. I may be a solopreneur, but this is far from a solo project. I am fortunate to have a fantastic support network in my husband, mother and sisters as well as my in-laws and friends. They offer motivation and encouragement when things get tough. Additionally, Hannah at Novel Marketing Co has been instrumental in marketing and social media support. Jeff at Agency Specialists has always been my go-to for business insurance needs, ensuring I have the coverage necessary for my business. Eric Adsit conducted some lifestyle photography necessary for my website. And of course, Naturally Lewis with their overall support in general plus through the DBA program has helped connect me with Novel Marketing, Eric Adsit plus several others that I'll hopefully be using for future business needs."
