A Day in the Tug Hill Region
Tug Hill is the outdoor recreation capital of Lewis County- providing all of the necessities to enjoy our fresh air and open spaces. Although it has its appeal year-round, the Tug Hill Region shines during the winter, bringing local residents and tourists together to experience the outdoors.
Let's set the scene: it's 5 AM and you're waching the picturesque Lewis County sunrise while drinking some hot coffee in your cozy room at The Edge Hotel. You have a full day of supporting Lewis County businesses and organizations planned ahead- here's your itinerary:

6:00 AM:
Stop into Level Up Power Fitness Center for some yoga or a scheduled training session (be sure to check their schedule!).

8:00 AM:
Breakfast at Deep Roots Cafe, and some local foods shopping!

9:30 AM:
Rent snowmobiles (and gear!) at West Wind Power Sports, then head to Southern Tug Hill. Consider joining a snowmobile club during your drive!

11:00 AM:
Arrive at Osceola Ski & Sport Resort. Need equiptment and gear? Don't worry, they have rentals!

1:00 PM:
Lunch in the Ski Lodge, fireside!

2:15 PM:
Head back North, with a stop into Whetstone Gulf State Park to see the gorge(eous views!)

3:00 PM:
Return to The Edge. Take a break!

4:30 PM:
Make your way to Barnes Corners to see the sights of a Lewis County sunset.

5:00 PM:
Dinner at Tugger's Grill, Bar, and Campground.

7:00 PM:
Return to Lyons Falls (don't forget to make a pitstop at the Copenhagen gorge!). Take a scenic drive, or head to Boondocks Restaurant & Bar for a lively nightlife scene!
