Lewis County is many incredible things, but 'good at food' might top the charts. With our exceptional food and beverage industry, our entrepreneurs have to ask "how can I do this differently?" The answer- food trucks! Read below to see what makes our Lewis County food trucks unique⬇🤩!


Sassy Mama's

Fun Fact: Sassy Mama's supports local! Their iconic philly steaks and burgers are from Red Barn Meats in Croghan!

Katey Bakes

Fun Fact: Katey Bakes owner, Katelynn, is a local high school student specializing in cupcakes, mini cakes and even pupcakes for your furry friend! She is the youngest entrepreneur included in this blog!

LaMont's Food Fair

Fun Fact: LaMont's Food Fair is a family business! Owners Doug and Rhonda include their daughter, Bondeana, in their operations!

Tug Hill Artisan Roasters, LLC.

Fun Fact: Tug Hill Artisan Roasters serve their own coffee on wheels! Their food truck is an extention of their roastery, and are in the works of developing a storefront in downtown Lowville! If you are looking for a sweet treat, try their Brownie Affogato!

Freeman's Taffy & Treats

Fun Fact: Freeman's has been family owned and operated since 1895! Using local products, Freeman's has been a Lewis County staple for generations!

Squishy's BBQ & Catering, LLC. 

Fun Fact: Squishy's makes and uses their own barbeque sauce! If you have never had a pulled pork sundae, here is your sign to add it to your bucket list!

Humble Palace

Fun Fact: A food truck with a Polish flare? Say no more, Humble Palace serves authentic Polish Perogies (and delish loaded fries).

With all of these incredible, innovative businesses in Lewis County, it's only natural for a community event centered around them to develop. Enter Food Truck Fridays Lewis County! Founded in 2017 to bring food trucks (from Lewis County and beyond!) together around the County, Food Truck Fridays is serving as a catalyst for our food trucks and entrepreneurs to be successful! Food Truck Fridays LC will be held on July 29 at the Croghan Park, on August 26 at the Lewis County Fairgrounds, and on September 9 at the Lyons Falls Riverside Park.
