The Lewis County WorkPlace provides FREE services that can benefit your business! From job postings to funding new employees, we can help assist your business. The Lewis County WorkPlace offers a variety of business services designed to help local businesses find, train & retain employees.

If you have a job opening, we can advertise it for free through the NYS Job Bank as well as through social media and our in-office jobs board. Once the posting is placed with us, our Business Services Representative provides free job matching and referrals services. We can also host open recruitments and help set up interviews at our agency. We are COVID-19 conscious and can ensure that all safety procedures are followed.

If you already have a quality candidate in mind for your open position, we can screen them to see if they qualify for any of our funding programs including On-The-Job Training (OJT) and the Work Experience Program. The OJT program can reimburse the business up to $8,000. The Work Experience Program is designed to help qualified young adults gain experience in the workforce under your guidance and we pay for their entire wage for the length of the program.
