Need Financing? Get Prepared.

Small business growth; we want it, we need it, we will do anything for it.  But more often than not, we are faced with businesses that have great project ideas, but little planning to go with it. 

As with any financial institution, we require thorough planning and research before we will lend or grant you money.  Business planning, financial projections, cost estimates; these are just a few of the many items required for any type of analysis for funding.  We want you to succeed; be sure to take the steps you need to succeed.

Currently, the Lewis County Economic Development office is accepting applications for the Lewis County Microenterprise Grant Program, a program funded by the New York State Office of Homes and Community Renewal.  In order to successfully plan for business start-up or growth, and to even qualify for the grant, you must take the Small Business Development Centers Entrepreneurial Training Course, hosted by the Watertown SBDC.  

This session, which starts on October 3, will be video conferenced at the new JCC Center in Lowville.  If you are interested in applying for a grant, a loan, or looking to succesfully plan for growth, consider taking this course.
