About the Opportunity

serving local

At Naturally Lewis, we're championing the growth of a community where people want to live, work, build business, and play. We are a nonprofit economic development organization rooted in rural; we are real community members making a real effort to grow our community into the one we all want to be a part of.

Why Does Economic Development Matter?

Economic development is the process of creating thriving communities. We are working to actively listen to the needs of our communities and strategically expand our assets to reflect those needs. Economic development is planning the path forward in our communities.

Who We're Looking For

real people in our communities

Naturally Lewis, Inc., an independent nonprofit leading economic development in Lewis County, is soliciting letters of interest for interested community members to sit on the Naturally Lewis, Inc. In an effort to make sure we have multiple communities represented on the board, we are prioritizing interest from individuals that live in the Beaver River, Harrisville or Copenhagen School Districts, but will consider all letters of interest.

There are currently three vacant Board seats. Board Members are expected to participate in the following activities:

  • Six Board Meetings per year + committee meetings
  • Act as liaison between organization and the community you live in to promote economic development programs and opportunities
