Welcome to RiverFest! Here, we're paddling down the spacious Black River and experiencing a social immersion in nature. Grab your people & your coolers - this is your next adventure!
Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned RiverFest attendee, we're welcoming everyone at this event. RiverFest is a 8.6 mile paddling adventure down the Black River, from Lyons Falls to Glenfield! Thinking you'll need a rest? We've got you covered with a midpoint party at the Burdick's Crossing Boat Launch.
Details for the day:
- The Route: Lyons Falls Boat Launch to Glenfield Boat Launch
- Registration @ Lyons Falls Boat Launch | 8am-10am
- Shuttle | 7:30am-11am
- We'll have a shuttle available from 7:30am-11am to drop your vehicle off at the end of the route and take you to your boat at the start. Please note:
- You must depart the mid-point by 1pm if you'd like to compelte the entire route.
- The shuttle will not be available if you are asked to depart the river at the mid-point.
- The shuttle will not transport any kayaks.
- We'll have a shuttle available from 7:30am-11am to drop your vehicle off at the end of the route and take you to your boat at the start. Please note:

- Mid-Point Festivities | Burdick's Crossing Boat Launch
- Pack your lunch & get ready for a mid-point party! The Traveling Sister's Mobile Bar will be serving up some fun!
Wondering what your day will look like?
- Between 8am and 9:30am, you'll check-in at our registration table! Once you're checked in, you'll take your vehicle to your ending point (Burdick's Crossing or Glenfield Boat Launch) and get a ride back to the Lyons Falls Boat Launch using the RiverFest Shuttle.
- Once you're back at Lyons Falls, it's clear paddling! After about two hours, you'll reach the RiverFest mid-point, Burdick's Crossing. Here, we'll have lawn games, music, food trucks, and SO much fun! We're breaking up the paddle with a good time and good company!
- From here, you'll either call it a day or paddle on to the Glenfield Boat Launch. Keep an eye out for trivia questions along your route; the winner wins a Float-Eh and some Discover Tug Hill swag!
