Lewis County CFA Grants: Five Named Priority Projects

The North Country Regional Economic Development Council just released their 2016 Progress Report, which reflects five Lewis County CFA applications as priority projects.

The five include:

  • Boondock’s Event Center
  • Lewis County Business Park
  • Lowville Dairy Producers Co-op
  • Omniafiltra, LLC
  • Zehr’s Flowers and Landscaping

According to the NCREDC press release, 27 total North Country Projects have been named a priority project.  These projects represent a total proposed state investment of $25,000,000 million, leveraging $77,648,870 in private and other funding for total project expenses of more than $102,648,870. Collectively, they support the creation of 213 new jobs, 439 indirect jobs and the retention of 393 existing jobs (NREDC Press Release, 10/5/16).  The final awards will be announced by New York State before the end of the year.
