Snow Ridge Ski Resort on the Path to Success

Snow Ridge Ski Resort is officially under new ownership.  The Resort was purchased on August 30, 2016 by Cyndy Sisto and Nick Mir; however, Cyndy and Nick had been operating the resort since Fall 2015 under an agreement with the prior owner. The mother and son team both have extensive experience in ski resort operations and are looking to continue the great experience of family skiing on Tug Hill.

Lewis County Economic Development worked with Ms. Sisto to finance the acquisition. A portion of the project financing was obtained through two local sources: The Lewis County Small Business Loan Fund provided by Lewis County Economic Development and the North Country Tourism fund provided by the Development Authority of the North Country. 

Along with the 21 ski trails, Snow Ridge also has a full service restaurant and campground with plenty of year round activities for the future.  Their plan is to host one major event each month during the off-season, and offer small events and promotions each week during the ski season to attract more customers to the area. Their upcoming event will be the Food Truck Roundup on September 24, 2016.  Local food trucks and live music will be featured.  Tickets are $5 pre-sale or $10 at the door.  Check out their website, www.snowridge.com, for more information!
