Lewis County Business Park

Lewis County Economic Development is actively working to identify a site and begin the process to build a business / commerce park. This project began with a review of many potential locations throughout Lewis County that would provide land with access to transportation routes and necessary infrastructure. The search for a site is now focused in the Lowville area. We have an agreement with a property owner for approximately 40 acres of land.

The vision for a business / commerce park is to provide shovel ready opportunities for growth of existing Lewis County businesses and to attract new investment from outside companies. The future site will provide ample water, wastewater capacity, electric, natural gas and telecommunications connections. With our natural resources and strong dairy industry, the commerce park will be an attractive location for food processing businesses, companies that support Fort Drum and SUNY Nano, and other entrepreneurial investments.
